As part of the initiative, over 100 young people participated in a Youth Masterclass covering areas such as photography, content creation, partnerships, and commercialization. Chepkemei highlighted street photography as a tool for capturing and monetizing tourism experiences.

The program also addresses practical business skills, regulatory compliance, and franchising opportunities, with mentorship provided by industry experts.

“Our target is to train 200 young people in tourism entrepreneurship, equipping them to monetize activities like ticketing, hotel reservations, and other tourism touchpoints,” she said.
