Kangundo Family Rejoices as Missing Relative is Found

After a relentless two-year search, the Kangundo family has located their missing relative, Ngina Ndeto, in Garissa town.

Ndeto, a mother of four, was reported missing in April 2022 upon returning from her marital home in Kaiti constituency, Makueni County. Her disappearance was linked to mental health issues she had been grappling with in 2021.

Despite extensive searches in major towns and morgues, the family found no leads until receiving information about her whereabouts in Garissa. Charles Katumo, Ndeto’s brother, expressed happiness at the reunion and urged his siblings to take her to a mental institution for stabilization and to provide support for her children.

The family is currently in the process of bringing her back home.
