Voter registration clerks will be posted to Huduma Centres in all 57 locations nationwide, where they will provide registration services in line with IEBC procedures.
At the same time, the commission is recruiting poll officials to oversee by-elections in several electoral units, which include one senatorial seat in Baringo County, six parliamentary constituencies, and 17 county assembly wards.
The vacant parliamentary seats are in Magarini (Kilifi), Banissa (Mandera), Mbeere North (Embu), Malava (Kakamega), Ugunja (Siaya), and Kasipul (Homa Bay).
Ward by-elections will also be conducted in multiple counties, including Tana River, Garissa, Machakos, Turkana, Samburu, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Narok, Kajiado, Kakamega, Nyamira, Nairobi, and Bungoma.
IEBC stated that successful candidates must be ready to work long hours under uniform terms and conditions as dictated by the electoral process.
Applications are to be submitted exclusively via the IEBC online portal at jobs.iebc.or.ke, with the deadline set for October 16, 2025. The commission stressed that canvassing will result in automatic disqualification and reaffirmed its commitment to equal employment opportunities.
Meanwhile, IEBC continues with its ongoing voter registration drive, targeting 6.3 million new voters — including newly eligible citizens aged 18, unregistered voters, and those wishing to transfer their details to new polling stations.
