Haitian Prime Minister Dr. Garry Conille, accompanied by Cabinet Secretary for Labor Dr. Alfred Mutua, visited the National Police Service (NPS) headquarters in Nairobi today.
He was welcomed by Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja Kirocho before touring the Integrated Command and Communication Centre.

Dr. Conille later visited the National Police College Embakasi “A” Campus, where he addressed 600 Kenyan police officers undergoing pre-deployment training for an upcoming mission to Haiti.
The officers, drawn from units like GSU, ASTU, RDU, and the all-female SWAT team, will soon be deployed to support peacekeeping efforts in the Caribbean nation.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for Kenya’s contribution, noting that he looks forward to seeing the officers in action.

Inspector General Kanja praised the visit, stressing the importance of the Kenya-Haiti partnership in ensuring peace and security.
Senior police commanders and government officials were also present during the visit.
