A drone attack in Sudan has hit a power station, leaving two eastern states without electricity.
Authorities blame RSF militants, who less than a week ago targeted a hydroelectric dam in the north.
12 million people have fled their homes due to the fighting since the war began in April 2023.
Witnesses said about six drones hit a power station in the town of Showak.
There are reports that Atbara airport in River Nile state was also targeted, along with a major power station in the southeastern town of Sinja.
RSF fighters have been targeting critical infrastructure in areas of Sudan that are controlled by the military.
Both sides have committed serious abuses against civilians.
The US government has imposed sanctions on the army chief and the leader of the RSF. The UN warns of increasing danger to civilians and ethnic attacks on minorities.
