DJ Dibul Issues New Warning Over Claims That Dorea Chege Beats Him

DJ Dibul has once again responded to online rumours alleging that his wife, actress Dorea Chege, is physically abusing him, criticising those spreading the claims as misinformed and intent on circulating falsehoods.

In a TikTok post shared on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Dibul questioned why some people are still insisting that he is being mistreated at home, noting that some of the stories being circulated—especially those describing supposed incidents on their balcony—are completely fabricated.

“I really don’t understand. Even if someone dislikes you, why would they create stories that I’m being beaten, and specifically claim it happens on the balcony?” he wrote.

He firmly dismissed the allegations and cautioned people against making assumptions about his marriage.
Dibul also warned against mistaking his soft-spoken personality for weakness, saying those who believe he lacks a voice at home are simply making shallow judgments.

“Some people are now saying I was choked by my wife on the balcony. Some people just love gossip. Don’t confuse being calm or not liking drama with having no authority in my house. That’s lazy thinking,” he added.

Earlier Warning

This latest reaction follows a recent incident on November 19, 2025, when Dibul confronted a social media user who claimed he was being mistreated because he wasn’t acting “like a man.”

“Bro, stand up like a man… I keep advising you to be a man, but you refuse… you’ve been sat on,” the user wrote.

Dibul responded sharply, telling him not to assume everyone goes through what he may have experienced personally.

“Sijakaliwa kama wewe,” he replied.

Rumours of alleged assault began spreading after fans questioned Dorea Chege directly online.
On November 18, 2025, she responded with humour, joking about looking for a taekwondo trainer—clearly mocking the claims.

When some users pushed further, suggesting she had been violent toward Dibul, Dorea dismissed the claims playfully.

A fan asked, “Unauliza nido upige Dibul?”

She replied jokingly, “Anapigwa kwani amefungwa mikono?”
