The Judiciary is poised to receive a significant financial boost following discussions between President William Ruto and Chief Justice Martha Koome at State House.
According to a statement from State House spokesman Hussein Mohammed, the allocated budget aims to enhance the efficient delivery of services and bolster efforts against corruption.
A portion of the funds will be allocated for the appointment of 36 judges, with 25 designated for the High Court and 11 for the Court of Appeal.
