Meet Dennis Philip, a proud entrepreneur hailing from Kitui Town, deeply rooted in the business of selling tires since 2005.
In 2013, he took a bold step and established his own venture located along Kalundu-Mangunas Road, right across from opposite Lake Oil Petrol Station. Beyond his business acumen, Dennis is also a farmer, calling the tranquil Kitui Rural in Kitui County his home.

Encouraging the younger generation to explore the myriad business opportunities around them, Dennis sees Kitui not just as a region of scenic landscapes but as fertile ground for entrepreneurship. “Juggling between my business and farming, I’ve witnessed the untapped potential within our reach,” he shares.

While championing the entrepreneurial spirit, Dennis is also pragmatic about the challenges faced by businesses today. One significant hurdle he points out is the burden of high taxes. “As businesspeople, we must collectively address this issue with relevant authorities to pave the way for a more conducive environment for growth,” he emphasizes.

“In the spirit of resilience, let’s not be daunted by obstacles. Embrace the intertwined journey of business and farming, recognizing them as essential threads in the fabric of our prosperity. Together, let’s plant the seeds of progress, ensuring a bountiful harvest for ourselves and future generations,” Philip said.

“Remember, Kitui’s strength lies in the unity and determination of its people. Let’s navigate these challenges together, cultivating a community where opportunities flourish, and the spirit of enterprise thrives,” he concludes, inspiring a collective effort toward growth and success.
