Nairobi: Traffic Police Officer Caught On Camera Taking Bribes Suspended.

The National Police Service has taken swift action following the circulation of a video clip allegedly showing Traffic Police Officer No. 63151 PC Haron Mwangi collecting bribes from motorists.

PC Mwangi, attached to the Traffic division at Buruburu Police Station, has been suspended pending further investigation, with dismissal proceedings already underway.

In response to the incident, the National Police Service has emphasized its commitment to combating corruption within its ranks.

This suspension underscores the importance of upholding professionalism, accountability, and transparency within law enforcement agencies.
