Governor Malombe’s Leadership Spurs Infrastructure Growth in Kitui

The Minister for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development in Kitui County, Fredrick Kimanga, highlighted significant advancements made by the County Government of Kitui under Governor Julius Makau Malombe’s leadership in enhancing infrastructure.

Kimanga revealed that a substantial project has been initiated to enhance connectivity for communities. The county government has commenced the grading of roads, committing to grade 70 kilometers per ward across all 40 wards of Kitui.

“This ambitious initiative reflects our commitment to promoting growth, connectivity, and accessibility across the entire county. By prioritizing road development, we aim not only to facilitate smoother transportation but also to create opportunities for economic progress in every corner of Kitui.”

He encouraged all residents to embrace this positive transformation and collaborate towards the ongoing development of beloved Kitui County. “Together, we can build a more connected, prosperous, and vibrant community for future generations.”

In conclusion, Kimanga expressed gratitude to Councillor John Mutinda for his steadfast commitment to the improvement of Kitui County. He acknowledged Mutinda’s leadership as instrumental in driving these initiatives forward. As they bid farewell to him during his well-deserved send-off, Kimanga urged everyone to recognize Mutinda’s dedication and service to Kitui.

The minister delivered these remarks during the send-off ceremony for John Mutinda, a former councillor of Kwa Mutonga in Kitui West, Kitui County, held on January 19, 2024.
