The Milimani High Court has scheduled February 11, 2027, as the date for delivering judgment in a case involving Mugithi musician Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu, popularly known as Samidoh, who is accused of sexual assault by a Kenyan-American woman.
The petitioner has sued the Inspector General of Police (IG), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), the Attorney General and the Witness Protection Agency (WPA), alleging they failed to fulfil their constitutional and legal responsibilities in handling her complaint.

According to court documents, the woman, identified in court as M.R.W. to protect her identity, says she lodged a formal complaint with the DCI on June 12, 2025, but claims the agency has neither registered nor investigated the matter.
She also alleges that the DCI failed to use the mutual legal assistance framework to obtain certified evidence from authorities in the United States.
When the matter came up for directions on Monday, July 20, 2026, Justice Patricia Nyaundi directed the respondents and Samidoh, who has been listed as an interested party, to file their responses by August 4, 2026.
The court further ordered the petitioner to file a supplementary affidavit and written submissions by August 20, 2026, while the respondents and the interested party were directed to submit their written arguments by September 5, 2026.
In her petition, M.R.W. alleges that the incident occurred on or about November 28, 2021, while Samidoh was in the United States for a music performance.
She claims he lured her to an Airbnb in Overland Park, Kansas, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her without her consent despite her resistance.
The petitioner further states that she later reported the matter to the Overland Park Police Department in Kansas, where the complaint was recorded as a rape case under Case No. 2023022021.
The case remains before the court, and no determination has yet been made regarding the allegations.
