CCTV footage obtained by the media captured the woman’s final moments at the apartment building.
According to the footage, a night guard was stationed near the lift lobby at around 4:11am. At approximately 4:17am, Consolata arrived accompanied by a man later identified as Tonny Odhiambo. She appeared to approach the guard, who then walked away.
At 4:18am, the guard assisted the pair in opening a key box, after which they accessed apartment C601.
Further footage reviewed by the media shows movement and shadows at the doorway at around 4:32am, indicating possible activity inside. At 4:34am, the guard entered the apartment and exited at 4:43am. He remained outside briefly before leaving, then returned momentarily at 4:46am — the last recorded sighting of Consolata alive.
What transpired afterward and how she ended up on the ground floor remains unclear.
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations arrived at the scene at about 6:09am, documenting evidence as inquiries commenced.
In remarks to the media, the suspect claimed the woman had been standing near a bedroom window and that he was unable to stop her from falling. He also alleged that she had previously expressed distressing thoughts.
Investigations further revealed that the apartment had not been booked under the suspect’s name, but under that of an associate.
Records reviewed by the media indicate that between 5:56pm and 3:57am, three individuals — two women and one man — checked into the same room. Police are now working to establish their identities and whether they were connected to the incident.

Residents and estate security personnel have called for stricter regulations governing short-stay accommodations, noting that similar incidents have been reported in the area before.
Meanwhile, the victim’s family is seeking answers regarding the circumstances of her death, as police continue with investigations to determine what exactly happened.
