The leaders first attended a service at Triumphant Christian Church in Nyaori, Nyalenda, where they joined congregants in worship before addressing them with messages centered on peace and unity.
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino assured worshippers that their visit was peaceful and not meant to provoke confrontation. He emphasized that they had simply come to engage with residents and warned against individuals allegedly inciting violence among the youth.
He maintained that the group would not be intimidated, urging those suspected of planning disruptions to stand down, while reiterating that their mission was peaceful.
Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi briefly addressed the congregation, expressing gratitude to God and reflecting on his personal faith.
Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna thanked Kisumu residents for their warm reception, saying the visit was also meant to show appreciation while dismissing claims meant to spread fear.
Meanwhile, Siaya Governor James Orengo cautioned those allegedly behind plans to disrupt the rally, describing the movement as unstoppable and encouraging supporters to attend in large numbers.
Earlier, videos circulating online showed youths believed to be aligned with the movement already gathered at K’Owuor Grounds, expressing confidence that the rally would proceed smoothly.

Tensions had begun building on Saturday, when groups of youths marched through the streets chanting slogans and carrying placards ahead of the event. A brief moment of unease was also reported Sunday morning near the Kachok area, though calm was later restored.

After the church service, the leaders proceeded toward the rally venue, trailed by growing crowds as the much-anticipated gathering got underway.
