A 35-year-old man was shot dead early Saturday morning outside Mara Junction Night Club in Narok following a dispute over a parking space.

According to a police report, the incident involved 53-year-old Paul Sena, a licensed civilian firearm holder, and the deceased, Mandela Nabala.
The altercation reportedly escalated when Sena, driving a Toyota Fortuner, clashed with Nabala, who was in a Subaru Forester. During the confrontation, Sena allegedly pulled out his Glock pistol and shot Nabala in the chin.
The club’s owner, Ambrose Lelesit, reported the 2:30am shooting to police. Officers, led by the area OCS, responded to the scene, which is roughly 7 kilometers from Narok Police Station.
Nabala was rushed to Narok County Referral Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
Police recovered the weapon, which had 14 live rounds, and a spent cartridge from the scene. The suspect was arrested and is being held in custody, while his vehicle has been impounded at Narok Police Station as investigations proceed.
