32-Year-Old Man Killed in Stabbing Incident in Ngong Town

Police are probing the death of a 32-year-old man who was stabbed during an altercation with a neighbour in the Gichagi area of Ngong Town, Kajiado County.

The victim, identified as Boniface Onyango, suffered stab injuries to the abdomen and back. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The cause of the dispute remains unclear.

After the incident, residents reportedly turned on the suspected attacker. Police stepped in and escorted the suspect to hospital under guard for treatment. Onyango’s body was taken to the mortuary as investigations continue, pending a postmortem.

The Ngong case is among several violent incidents reported in different parts of the country.

In Kapsowar, Elgeyo Marakwet County, a 19-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of Philemon Kibet in the Kapsagar area. Police have not revealed the motive, and the body was moved to a mortuary for an autopsy.

In Nairobi’s Dandora area, a man died after falling from the back of a moving lorry along Kangundo Road. Police said the vehicle was heading to the city centre when the man lost his grip after hitting a bump, sustaining fatal head injuries. His body was taken to the mortuary for identification and postmortem.

Meanwhile, in Emuhaya, Vihiga County, a 35-year-old man, Muyela Astwa, was beaten to death by a group of people who accused him of theft. Police have cautioned the public against mob justice, urging suspects to be handed over to authorities for lawful handling.

In a separate incident in Kawangware, Nairobi, a 56-year-old man identified as Nyabuka Mzee collapsed and died on Wednesday afternoon. The cause of death has not yet been established. His body was taken to the mortuary for further examination.

Police say investigations into all the incidents are ongoing and have reiterated that disputes should be resolved through legal means, warning that those involved in violence or mob justice risk facing serious charges.
