According to police, the men, one from Kitengela and two from Sagana, met three women they did not know while attending the event.

The group reportedly spent time together before leaving the entertainment venue and booking separate rooms at a nearby hotel.

The men told police that they woke up at around midday on Saturday and found themselves alone, with the three women having left.

They subsequently discovered that several valuables and cash were missing and suspected that they had been intoxicated using an unknown substance.

One of the victims reported losing an ignition key, a Samsung mobile phone valued at Sh200,000, a laptop worth Sh30,000 and two wristwatches valued at Sh500.

A second man reported losing a Redmi phone valued at Sh32,000, while the third said his Infinix Hot 10 phone worth Sh20,000, an HP laptop valued at Sh30,000 and Sh130,000 allegedly withdrawn from his M-Pesa account were missing.

Police officers who visited the hotel recovered several drinking glasses containing residual substances from the rooms occupied by the men. The items were collected and preserved as exhibits as investigations continue.

Detectives are now working to establish what happened and identify the three women who were reportedly with the victims before they retired to the hotel.

The incident comes amid police concerns over similar cases reported in the area, with officers conducting operations targeting suspected groups linked to such incidents.
