The upgraded fuel lineup—Shell V-Power Unleaded, Shell FuelSave Unleaded, and Shell FuelSave Diesel—features enhanced cleaning agents and performance-boosting technology, the result of decades of research and innovation by Shell.
One of the standout benefits includes the new Shell FuelSave Unleaded, which offers motorists up to 15 additional kilometres per tank.
Speaking at the launch, Hans Paulsen, Vivo Energy’s Executive Vice President for East Africa, said the new fuels are aimed at delivering more value for drivers, including improved mileage, engine cleanliness, and smoother driving experiences.
“Shell is focused on exceeding customer expectations. This new generation of fuels meets the needs of today’s motorists, offering more mileage and enhanced engine protection,” said Paulsen.
He emphasized that the move is based on customer insights and Shell’s ongoing effort to provide solutions that address real-world driving needs. The new Shell V-Power Unleaded—developed in collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari—is part of this innovation push, enhancing fuel efficiency and vehicle performance.
Paulsen noted that Vivo Energy remains committed to delivering exceptional experiences at Shell service stations, not just through fuels but also in its retail spaces—offering convenience, quality, and care at every customer touchpoint.
