His schedule includes stops in Maua, Kiburi, Nkuene, Ahiti Ndomba, and Kagio Town, where he plans to address local residents and launch development projects.
Yesterday, Ruto urged leaders to focus on development rather than populist politics, advocating for unity in light of regional tensions.
“I want to reassure the people here that I have no intention of sidelining you. I know you voted for me willingly, and I am committed to ensuring this region keeps up with development. I will not engage in politics that spread rumors, conflict, or deception,” Ruto stated.
The President also challenged the residents to hold him accountable for any lack of development in their areas.
“I am neither drunk nor confused. I know exactly what I’m doing. If I fail to deliver on the promises made in 2022, you have every right to vote me out. But I will surprise you with what I aim to achieve,” Ruto said.
Defending his decision to form a broad-based government, Ruto emphasized that divisive politics based on ethnicity or regionalism has no place in the country.
“No community, county, or region will be left out by the Broad-Based Government. We will work together to make our country more inclusive, prosperous, and better for all of us,” he assured Nanyuki residents.

Despite concerns about hostility following his fallout with former deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Ruto received a warm reception.
Nyeri Governor Kahiga expressed appreciation for the President’s development initiatives in Nyeri County and the wider Mount Kenya region.
“Don’t let anyone tell you not to visit Nyeri. Come as often as you like. We sought this government, and we’re here to stay,” Kahiga stated in Kieni.
