Olive Burrows Quits NTV, Set To Join Citizen TV

NTV news anchor Olive Burrows has announced her departure from the Nation Media Group after a year-long tenure at the Kimathi Street-based TV station.

In her final broadcast on Wednesday night, Burrows emphasized that her departure is not a farewell, but rather a “see you later.”

“This isn’t a goodbye, it’s more of a ‘see you later.’ You all have been trying to make me cry today. I’ll wait for the rain to start (laughs), then I’ll blame it on the sound,” she joked, referring to her colleagues’ farewell messages.
