About 35,000 homes and businesses are without power in the city of Los Angeles, in the United States, according to a website that tracks power outages.
The latest estimates from Poweroutage.us show that approximately 17,500 customers of the Southern California Edison electric utility are without power.
About 17,700 Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers and 100 Pasadena customers are without power.
In a statement released hours ago, the LA Department of Water and Power says that since the fire began on Tuesday, their crews have restored power to more than 350,000 customers, with more than 100 workers focusing their efforts on repairing poles downed by high winds.
