Abwabu Namwamba, Kenya’s nominee for Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), has declared a net worth of Sh500 million. The revelation came during his vetting before the National Assembly Committee on Defence, Intelligence, and Foreign Relations.
Namwamba disclosed that his wealth is composed of various assets, including real estate, business interests, shareholdings, and pension contributions. The declaration adds transparency to his financial standing as he seeks approval for the prestigious diplomatic position.
