Authorities are investigating the murder of a 23-year-old man whose decomposing body was discovered in his home in the Riruta area of Nairobi.
Neighbors reported being disturbed by a strong, foul odor emanating from the house, prompting them to investigate. They found the body of Robert Kinyua on Tuesday.
While the exact time of death remains unclear, officials believe the man may have been dead for at least two days due to the state of decomposition.
Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered stab wounds on Kinyua’s collarbone and right thigh. The motive and identity of the attackers are still unknown.
The body was taken to the mortuary for an autopsy, and police have launched a murder investigation.
