Police in Isiolo County are investigating the killing of a 53-year-old man during a violent home attack in Kina, Garbatula.

The victim, identified as Erick Mutembei Njagi, was gunned down by four armed men who arrived on a motorcycle and stormed his house in the Madoyaka area. Witnesses said the attackers, who were also carrying a hammer, demanded money from the local construction worker before shooting him multiple times in the chest.
Several other occupants in the house managed to escape during the Saturday morning incident. The gang fled on motorcycles and remains at large.
The body was taken to the mortuary for post-mortem examination as investigations continue.
