Corporal Nzuve died on September 1 following a traffic accident in Haiti, where Kenyan officers are part of an international mission aimed at stabilizing the troubled Caribbean nation. His death occurred just months after another Kenyan officer deployed to Haiti was killed during an ambush in March.
Nzuve’s body was flown back to Kenya on September 27 and received with full honors at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport before being transferred to Chiromo Mortuary in preparation for burial.
