Despite widespread speculation fueled by their uncanny resemblance, comedian Henry Desagu has emphatically denied any familial connection with John Matara. Desagu took to his Facebook page, sharing a photo of Matara accompanied by a humorous caption to dismiss the circulating rumors.
In response to netizens pointing out their look-alike features, Desagu clarified, “I am not related to one John Matara,” making it clear that there is no familial association between them.
“Any such Hullabaloo associating me with him should be disregarded, discombulated and disconfisured with utmost hubwatete,” the comedian added.
It’s worth noting that John Matara is currently a suspect in the murder case involving Instagram model Starlet Wahu.
Desagu’s statement indicates that he does not have a personal acquaintance with Matara and only came across his photo through news reports.
