Baringo Senator William Kipkorir Cheptumo has passed away at the age of 57, as confirmed by Senate Speaker Amazon Kingi.
His family informed the Nation on Sunday that the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) representative died on Saturday night.
The first-term senator had been ill and was released from the hospital on February 9 to recover at home, according to his colleagues Kiborek Reuben (Mogotio) and Jackson Kosgei (nominated).
