The body of a 26-year-old man who went missing in Nairobi on New Year’s Eve after a night of celebration at a Kasarani venue has been found in the same area.
Ian Singoe had traveled from Bomet to Nairobi on December 29, 2024, to complete some work-related paperwork. His mother, Pauline Korir, said he went out on the night of December 31, met some friends at a Kasarani entertainment spot, but never returned to the home where he was staying.
Relatives who checked Singoe’s phone reported that it was still active at around 1 a.m. on January 1, 2025, before it went silent. His body was later discovered in Kasarani Mwiki, and an investigation into his death has begun.
