DP Gachagua Pays Tribute to Veteran Radio Host Prof. Njoroge

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has expressed his sorrow over the death of political commentator Prof. Ngugi Njoroge, describing him as “profoundly humorous, warm, and charming.”

In a post on X, Gachagua conveyed his deep sadness at the loss of his long-time friend.

He highlighted Njoroge’s significant contributions as a political commentator, noting his sharp oratory skills and impactful discussions on national development, particularly on Inooro FM’s Keera Show and other platforms.

Gachagua mentioned having the honor of being a guest on Njoroge’s informative show, where they had engaging discussions. He praised Njoroge for redefining the media’s role in advancing development and stated that his insightful contributions will be greatly missed.

The Deputy President extended his heartfelt condolences to Njoroge’s family, colleagues at Royal Media Services and Inooro TV, as well as friends and relatives.

Prof. Njoroge, a distinguished radio presenter and political analyst, passed away on Monday morning. He was known for hosting the late-night show ‘Keera’ on Inooro FM, part of Royal Media Services. Reports indicate that he died at his home before dawn.
