12 Killed in an Israeli Bomb Attack in Syria

An Israeli shelling attack on the Syrian countryside of Aleppo early on Monday left at least 12 people dead and others injured, according to Agence France-Presse.

Agence France-Presse quoted the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights as saying that the bombing targeted the town of Hayyan, west of Aleppo.

Israel has not commented on the attack.

Syrian official media quoted a military source as saying that several people were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting areas near the Syrian city of Aleppo on Monday.
