Nairobi:One Fatally Stabbed during UDA Grassroots Polls in Kayole, 2 More Die in Separate Incidences

A fatal incident occurred during UDA grassroots elections in Kayole, Nairobi, where a man was stabbed and killed amid clashes between groups.

Police have detained two suspects related to the stabbing of a man in his forties, who was rushed to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital with wounds to his chest but tragically passed away upon arrival. The altercation reportedly stemmed from political disagreements during the UDA grassroots elections at Rasta Stage.

In another incident in Kayole, a 23-year-old man named Ethan Kago is suspected to have been electrocuted while allegedly fleeing from a robbery scene through a tunnel. Despite rescue efforts and transportation to St. Patrick Hospital, he did not survive his injuries.

Additionally, the decomposed body of a missing woman was found in her home in Mathare, Nairobi, after five days. Allegedly, she had been involved in a dispute with her boyfriend, who subsequently fled the scene.

The body, bearing deep cuts on the chin, was discovered covered with a blanket in her locked house, prompting neighbors to alert authorities due to a foul smell emanating from the residence.

Investigations are ongoing in all cases, highlighting the concerning trend of fatal domestic disputes.
