Felix Nyaundi, a senior Lands official, is under investigation by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for allegedly acquiring 106 prime properties, 17 cars, and a significant sum of cash through corrupt means.
The EACC has urgently petitioned the court to freeze Nyaundi’s assets, including properties scattered across various counties, to prevent their disposal pending the outcome of the investigation.
The commission suspects Nyaundi of abusing his office and embezzling funds, as his amassed wealth appears disproportionate to his lawful income.
The EACC asserts that preserving these assets is necessary to facilitate the ongoing probe and potential recovery efforts.
