Bolt Senior General Manager for East Africa Dimmy Kanyankole urged the public to verify information before sharing it and rely only on official communication channels.
The company reassured drivers, customers, and partners that its services in Kenya remain fully operational and unaffected.
Bolt said the document in circulation did not originate from the company or any authorised representatives, adding that it was entirely fabricated.
The firm further stated that it has launched investigations to trace the source of the fake communication and those responsible for spreading it.
It emphasized that it remains committed to the Kenyan market and continues to focus on providing safe, reliable, and innovative transport services while creating economic opportunities.
Bolt also cautioned the public against sharing misinformation and encouraged users to depend only on updates shared through its official website, verified social media pages, and the app.
