Social media influencer Baba Talisha has disclosed the circumstances surrounding Brian Chira’s death.
In a TikTok video, Baba Talisha, who shared a close bond with Chira, relayed information from the pathologist indicating that Chira suffered ruptures in his heart, lungs, and kidneys.
These findings emerged from a post-mortem examination conducted at the City Mortuary, where Chira’s body was initially held before being transferred to Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary.
“Chira’s demise resulted from severe injuries to multiple organs and blunt force trauma,” the content creator stated.
He urged the public to refrain from spreading unfounded rumors regarding the circumstances of the TikToker’s death.
“The cause was a traffic accident. I’ve witnessed misinformation on social media, and I entrust everything to God,” Baba Talisha remarked.
Expressing dismay over the dissemination of falsehoods during the family’s grieving period, Baba Talisha appealed for restraint.
Despite acknowledging the support extended to the family, he deemed it unjust to perpetuate untruths.
“While your assistance is appreciated, refrain from amplifying this narrative, especially here on TikTok,” he urged.
Chira was laid to rest on March 26 at his ancestral home in Ingitei village, Githunguri, Kiambu County.
His funeral drew a large crowd, with mourners witnessing an emotional interment ceremony.
Prior to the burial, there was a viewing and collection of Chira’s remains at Kenyatta University Hospital mortuary.
During the proceedings, family and friends paid heartfelt tributes to the late TikToker.
Many of his fans, unable to attend in person, expressed their farewells online.
Renowned musician Otile Brown delivered a poignant rendition of his hit track ‘One Call’ at the funeral.
As he performed, mourners joined in singing, recalling it as Chira’s favorite song.
“One call away, Call me if you need me. Your hero. I’m only one call away,” they sang.
Acknowledging the surge in views on Chira’s YouTube channel following his passing, the singer paid homage to the late TikToker’s memory.
