Rigathi Gachagua has stepped up grassroots mobilisation efforts by launching a new Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) office in Oloitoktok.
The opening is part of the party’s wider plan to strengthen its national footprint ahead of the upcoming general elections. In a statement, Gachagua said setting up the office in Kajiado South underscores the party’s focus on connecting directly with citizens at the local level.

He was joined at the event by DCP Deputy Leader Cleophas Malala, Kiambu Senator Karungo wa Thangwa, and other allies.
Gachagua emphasized that the party aims to champion the interests and voices of ordinary Kenyans, urging residents of Oloitoktok and the larger Kajiado region to support it.
He described DCP as a responsive political platform that prioritises public needs and aspirations, adding a blessing message to the county.

The event followed Gachagua’s attendance at a homecoming and thanksgiving ceremony in Kitengela, where David Persaina was celebrated after being named the party’s first National Chairperson.
