A cargo plane has skidded off the runway at Hong Kong International Airport and crashed into the sea, killing two people, local media reported.
Emirates flight EK9788, a cargo flight, was arriving from Dubai at 10:10 local time (19:50 GMT) when it collided with a car on the northbound carriageway.
Two airport workers fell into the sea, a statement from the Civil Aviation Department said.
They were rescued but later died in hospital, according to local media including broadcaster RTHK which quoted a police statement.
The plane crashed into the airport fence and collided with a police car patrolling the runway, overturning and pushing the car into the sea.
Two security personnel in the vehicle, aged 30 and 41, died in the incident.
