Speaking in Teso North, Busia County, Kindiki criticized former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for his recent warning of potential post-election violence, calling such statements “unpatriotic” and stemming from “political inexperience.”
“Those predicting chaos in 2027 should be ignored,” Kindiki stated. “Such talk only serves to incite fear and undermine democratic processes.”
Gachagua, in a recent interview with Obinna TV, had claimed that if the 2027 elections were manipulated, the country could face worse unrest than the 2007 post-election violence.

In response, Kindiki urged politicians to move away from constant campaigning and allow the current administration to focus on delivering its promises.
“We cannot be stuck in campaign mode forever. Even scripture says there is a time for everything. Now is the time to govern, not politic,” he said.
He affirmed the government’s commitment to reducing the cost of living and tackling unemployment, noting economic progress under the Kenya Kwanza administration.
“Our efforts are bearing fruit — the shilling is gaining strength, and our economy is now performing better than Ethiopia and Angola, who used to rival us,” Kindiki added.
