The parties involved are set to present their arguments before Justice Bahati Mwamuye.
During the previous court session, the judge affirmed and extended orders preventing her removal. Mwamuye stated that Kawira demonstrated to the court that without the confirmation of interim orders, the case would become ineffective.
The judge confirmed and extended the ex parte orders issued on August 21 of last year, stating that they would remain in effect for 120 days. “During this period, the petitioner will continue serving as governor, with the possibility that the judgment may be delivered before the 120 days expire,” he explained.
