The data highlights a clear shift toward faster internet connections, with 4G dominating usage, followed by 3G and 2G. This trend is essential for business, education, and e-government services, where high-speed connectivity improves productivity and access to digital platforms.

The report recommends expanding 5G coverage and enhancing network quality to boost Kenya’s digital economy. Improved connectivity could enable advanced applications such as cloud computing, IoT solutions, and other digital services.

Increasing internet access in both urban and rural areas remains a key priority to support socio-economic growth and ensure all Kenyans can benefit from digital opportunities.
