Wamalwa emphasizes that the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya alliance will persist as the voice representing the concerns of Kenyan citizens. He asserts that Kenya Kwanza should cease attempts to silence Raila for highlighting issues like corruption and incompetence, urging them instead to address pressing matters like the ongoing flood crisis by declaring it a national disaster.
Raila’s recent condemnation of the government occurred during his visit to Mukuru, where he strongly criticized the demolition of houses. This stance created tension within the Kenya Kwanza camp. Raila warned the government against further demolitions, insisting on humane treatment of affected citizens and proper housing solutions.
