Additionally, former Narok Governor Samuel Tunai has been appointed as Chairperson of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) Board of Directors, taking over from Irungu Nyakera, whose appointment has been revoked. Tunai’s term will also last for three years.
Nyakera has been reassigned to the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) as Chairperson of the Board of Directors, replacing Adelina Mwau, whose prior appointment has been rescinded. Nyakera will serve at KICC for three years.

In another appointment, Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome has named Prof. Jeremiah Nyabuti Ayonga to the Physical Planners Registration Board for a three-year term.
These appointments follow earlier moves by President Ruto, which included bringing back political allies into key roles. Former ICT CS Eliud Owalo has been appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff for Performance and Delivery Management, and ex-Public Service Minister Moses Kuria has been named Senior Advisor in the Council of Economic Advisors.
Additionally, prominent digital strategist Dennis Itumbi is now Head of Creative Economy and Special Projects in the Executive Office of the President.
