The Public Service Commission (PSC) has named nine candidates to be interviewed for the position of member of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
The interviews are scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025, at PSC headquarters on Harambee Avenue, Nairobi.

Those shortlisted are: Michael Thoyah Kingi (Kilifi), Mary Yiane Seneta (Kajiado), Abdul Bahari Ali (Isiolo), Richard Chacha Boke (Migori), Zuleikha Juma Hassan (Mombasa), Kosiom Frank Kibelekenya (Narok), Abubakar Ketemon Lewano (Marsabit), Susan Chepkisur Chongo Nakoru (Baringo), and Teresiah Jerusah Michael (Kitui).
Interviews will run from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, with candidates expected to report at least 20 minutes before their allocated slot. They must present original identification documents, academic and professional certificates, and clearances from the police, KRA, HELB, CRB, and EACC, in addition to professional recommendations where applicable.
PSC also invited members of the public to submit any credible information regarding the candidates’ suitability. Submissions, supported by sworn affidavits, should be emailed to src2025@publicservice.go.ke or delivered physically to the Secretary/CEO’s office by Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
The Commission noted that the process is anchored in Article 230(2)(b)(ii) of the Constitution and Section 7(1) of the SRC Act, which mandate PSC to nominate a representative to the Commission.
SRC is tasked with setting and reviewing salaries and benefits of state officers, as well as advising on remuneration for other public officers.
PSC described the recruitment as part of its broader commitment to accountability, transparency, and citizen-focused service delivery in line with Vision 2030.
