President William Ruto has arrived in Lugari, Kakamega County, to attend a church service and the annual Kivaywa gathering organized by the Friends Quakers and Matete Christian Fellowship.

The event is taking place at Friends’ Comprehensive School in Kivaywa.
He is being hosted by Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera and Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa.

Other prominent leaders present include National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka, along with various elected leaders from the region.

The visit is part of President Ruto’s continued outreach and engagements within Kakamega and the broader Western region.
