A nine-month-old baby has died and 19 other passengers were injured after a Bus Car Company public service vehicle rolled over due to a tire blowout in Matsangoni, Kilifi.
The incident happened at 8 a.m. on Saturday while the bus was traveling from Kilifi to Malindi.
According to police, the tire burst caused the driver to lose control, leading the bus to overturn and come to a stop on the roadside.
Among the injured, 17 passengers sustained minor injuries, while two others were seriously hurt.
