Rebecca Miano, the nominee for Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary, has outlined why she is the ideal choice for the role. She highlighted her extensive experience in executive positions, including a five-year tenure as a CEO.
In her previous roles, Miano developed essential skills in leadership, organizational management, operations, finance, and strategic planning. She believes these competencies have equipped her well for the Tourism CS position.

As a lawyer and Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Miano presented her extensive experience during her vetting process. She is one of the ten Cabinet Secretaries slated for reappointment, pending Parliament’s approval.
Previously, she was nominated for Attorney General and served as the Trade CS since last October, having also held the role of EAC, ASALs & Regional Development CS.
