A man has died and another was seriously injured after a wall collapsed during a house demolition in Isyukoni Village, Masinga Sub-county, Machakos County.

According to area Assistant Chief Timothy Kivati, the two victims were working with a third person when the weakened wall suddenly caved in, burying them under the rubble. One of the men died instantly, while the other sustained severe injuries.
The body of the deceased was taken to Mbaku Funeral Home in Matuu, as the injured man receives treatment at Matuu Level Four Hospital.
Authorities have since opened an investigation to determine the cause of the incident and whether proper safety measures were observed during the demolition process.
