Kenya Power has released a schedule indicating areas that will experience power outages on Wednesday to allow for routine maintenance.

The planned interruptions will affect different locations in seven counties—Nairobi, Kajiado, Uasin Gishu, Vihiga, Embu, Nyeri, and Kiambu—between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., though exact times may vary.
Nairobi
Power will be off from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in several parts of the capital, including Mirema, Lumumba Drive, USIU, Thome 5, Safari Park View East, parts of TRM, and nearby areas.
Also affected will be areas along Jogoo Road including Burma Market, Kaloleni Spur, Rikana Supermarket, Government Quarters, Mary Immaculate Hospital, Heshima Road, and neighboring customers.
Additional affected locations include Moi Education Centre, School of the Blind, Wilson Airport (entire), T-Mall, Skyline Mall, Shell and Rubis petrol stations, Bethel S/Center, Uhuru Gardens, Jonathan Ngeno, Maasai Court, and Breeze East.
Kajiado
In Kajiado, outages from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will affect areas such as Barabara Mpya, Tom and Jerry, parts of Merisho Road, Rongai Exciting, Kimani Road, Mayor Road, Maasai Lodge Road, Nazarene University, Tuala, Sigma Feeds, Rangau Olekasasi, Gataka, Kware, Emakoko, Rimpa, Kandisi, SGR, Kwa Muthaura, Metropolitan, Symurina, and surrounding regions.
Also on the list are Maxwell University, Acacia East, Olesakunda, Magenche, Kimandiro, Total, Laiser Hill, Nairobi Women’s Hospital, Fatima Hospitals (North and South), parts of Kware, Tuskys, Kingdom Hall, Wama Hospital, Rongai Town, Sinai Hospital, Kanisani Road, Kwekwe, Kahuho, Philothea, Kiserian Primary and Town, Ndirangu Road, Narumoru, Gategi, Picnic Site, Brook-Hust, Emasho, Sholinge, Farmers, NPC, Olorien, Birika, Ostrich Farm, Kipeto, and Saithy Sai.
Uasin Gishu
Power will go out from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in parts of Uasin Gishu, including Lower Mugunga, Majengo, Smokin Wanjala, Bishop Birech, Wonifour, Katuiyo, Sirwo, Cheroroget, Mogobich, Rot-Tuga, and nearby areas.
Vihiga
In Vihiga, outages will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in areas such as Solongo Polytechnic, sections of Chavakali and Mbale markets, Hams Hotel, Road Park Hotel, Rubis Petrol Station, Madegwa Village, and nearby locations.
Embu
Between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., parts of Embu such as Kivwe Market, Muruatetu, Mbukori, Manyatta, TIVET, Makengi, Karingari, Nembure, Kevote, Makuria, Ngai Ndethia, and surrounding areas will be affected.
Nyeri
Scheduled outages from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Nyeri will impact Ngandu, Kiamaina C/Fact, Kiawanduha, Thangathi, Giakomu, Unjiru, Grando Kago, Ichuga Sec School, Gathumbi, Unjiru PCEA, Kiawarigi C/Fact, Kiangurwe, Gachuiro, General China, Gathu-Ini, Kihuro, Itiati Market, Kiamaucheru, Itiati Mukonye, Gitunduti Market, Kianjuguma, Gikore, Kihuri, and Safaricom/Airtel boosters.
Kiambu
Power interruptions in Kiambu will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., affecting areas such as Total Gatitu, Cravers Hotel, TIBS, Vincentian Prayer House, Mangu High, Compuera High, Ndarugu Coffee East, parts of Ngoingwa, THIWASCO, Albizzia, Kanunga, Ngegu, Torito, Kasphat, Ibonia, Kiamara, Kiratina, as well as parts of Kinoo, Gichecheni, Baraniki, and their surroundings.
