Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has announced plans to dispose of 262 unclaimed bodies within the next seven days.
The hospital issued a notice via MyGov, urging the public to visit the Farewell Home to identify any of their deceased relatives.
In line with the Public Health Act Cap 242, under the Public Health (Public Mortuaries) Rules, 1991, KNH is calling on individuals to identify and collect the bodies within the specified period.
The notice further warned that if the bodies are not claimed within this time frame, the hospital will proceed with disposal.
