Kenya Railways has temporarily suspended its morning train services to Lukenya and Syokimau due to a blockage on the railway line at Mukuru.
In an announcement made on Thursday, April 24, Kenya Railways explained that the disruption was caused by the obstruction along the line, and as a result, the trains will not operate during the morning hours.
“We are actively working to clear the blockage and restore the services,” the statement on X (formerly Twitter) said.
The railway company expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and assured the public that a team is on-site to resolve the issue. They also promised to update passengers once regular services resume.
