In a post shared on X, the airline noted that the development is part of a phased plan to reinstate aircraft that had been temporarily withdrawn from service to undergo critical maintenance.
The aircraft has since resumed flights, marking its first journeys after the maintenance process. Kenya Airways stated that the jet will enhance its mid- and long-haul operations, increasing capacity and strengthening reliability across its network.
“We look forward to welcoming you on board,” the airline said.
The return forms part of the airline’s wider strategy to uphold safety standards and deliver dependable travel experiences. Through scheduled fleet rotations for maintenance, Kenya Airways aims to improve aircraft readiness and respond to rising demand on both regional and international routes.
