However, Mutambu has clarified that his support will not be just as an individual backer but will also involve bringing his political party into the mix.

“I will not just support Kalonzo Musyoka as a person, but I will bring my political party along to ensure that we work together toward a brighter future for Kenya,” Mutambu said on Tuesday during an interview with Sir. Mwenge at Musyi FM.

While Mutambu’s announcement may seem a natural alignment with the Wiper Party’s agenda, it underscores his desire to play a significant role in the upcoming election. By aligning with Kalonzo, Mutambu aims to unite forces and build a coalition that could challenge other presidential candidates.

In addition to his political support for Kalonzo, Mutambu has revealed plans to address a critical issue affecting many Kenyans—education. The politician disclosed that he is currently working on an education petition that aims to provide free learning for all Kenyans from primary through to secondary school. He plans to present this petition to parliament, hoping to create a lasting and impactful policy that ensures education is accessible to all children, regardless of their financial background.

The proposed education petition is expected to tackle some of the long-standing challenges faced by families in accessing quality education. With rising costs and the financial burden on households, free education from primary to secondary school could be a game changer for many families across the country.

His focus on education reform, could gain widespread support from the electorate, as the need for more accessible and equitable education is a pressing issue for many Kenyan families.

As Mutambu prepares to take his petition to parliament, it remains to be seen how this will influence both his political career and the broader political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections.
